Moving is hard

No comments:
Wow! This move has been SO much harder than we ever thought it would be. We would just like to say thank you times a hundred for all of our wonderful fans and customers who've been along for this crazy ride this summer as we picked up and moved half way across the country! We appreciate you more than you could ever know- without you all, we are nothing. We are working this week on getting caught up on all our emails and orders, so if you've sent us one, or your waiting on an order, please give us a few more days, we're working night and day for you all. We have a fabulous new team of seamstresses at our new studio, and they are sewing away like mad.

Summer Key Chain Super Sale

No comments:
So in order to prepare for our big move at the end of the summer we talked about here, we're launching our BIGGEST SALE EVER !!!

Here's how it works:

For every key chain you purchase-
http://heroonmyarm.com/category_40/Keychains.htm
between now and August 31st, we'll send you an electronic coupon code for $10 off any purchase of $100 or more starting September 1st. The code can only be used once, and you can keep it to use yourself, or you can even give it as a gift! You can only use one coupon code per purchase, but you will get a coupon for every key chain you purchase. So if you buy 10 key chains- you'll get 10 coupons. Keep one, and give 9 away as gifts! We'll email you your coupon code(s) on September 1st.

During our 3 month key chain sale, we're hoping to sell 10,000 key chains! (yeah, yeah, we know that's a lot, we're up for it!!!) Help us by spreading the word about this great event!!! If you haven't already, be sure to like us on facebook-

http://www.facebook.com/heroonmyarm

and follow us on Twitter-

http://www.twitter.com/heroonmyarm

We'll be posting updates on there of our progress toward the 10,000 key chain goal!!! We'll also be giving away some great prizes at each 1,000 increment we reach.

We can't help it, we like to dream big!!!

And here's the best part...if we reach our 10,000 key chain goal, instead of a $10 coupon, we'll email everyone a $20 coupon code instead!

Coupons will be valid for any purchase of $100 or more on www.HeroOnMyArm.com and won't expire for one year.

So be sure to purchase a key chain (or two or ten!) during our great summer event, and then be sure to spread the word about this great sale to everyone you know- you'll be helping us reach our 10,000 key chain goal and you'll be helping to double your $10 coupon gift to a $20 coupon gift.

And now a little bit about the key chains...

Key chains are perfect for everyone!!! We have regular key chains:

http://heroonmyarm.com/item_85/Keychains.htm

And wristlet ones:
http://heroonmyarm.com/item_185/Wristlet-Keychain.htm

And even fashion fabric ones!!!

You can embroider on both sides of the key chains, and choose any font and any color. You can also choose between circle and heart shaped key rings. They are available in all the current camo patterns:
ACU
NWU
ODU
ABU
BDU

A Very Big Announcement

No comments:
Hello All!

This is Seneca, owner and founded of Hero On My Arm here. I've got some news to share with you all. After almost 18 years of honorable military service, my husband is being medically retired this summer. This will be a big change for our family. We're currently stationed at Fort Rucker, Alabama, however this is not home for us, so a big move lies ahead. We are currently selling our house here in Alabama (anybody know anyone looking for a house? I've got a great place to show you, lol!), and after its sold, we'll be moving to Oklahoma.

So what does this mean for Hero On My Arm? Only good things!!! Currently, we are still open, taking new orders and will continue to stay open as we prepare to move. We're already talking with contractors about prepping our new studio in Oklahoma so that when we do move, we'll be able to move right in and get started. When its actually time to move, the girls at the studio here in Alabama will continue to stay open and finish up any orders we've received up to that point. We'll have to close up shop temporarily (probably about 2 weeks) for the actual move and to set up the studio and train the new staff. As soon as we know exactly when that will be, we'll let you all know!

I'm very excited to be making this very last move with Hero On My Arm. As an active duty family, we've had to PCS with the business before, so this is nothing new for us, however we are so excited to finally be able to give Hero On My Arm a permanent home. We'll be able to do a lot of things we've only been dreaming about over the last 8 years because we were at the mercy of the "needs of the Army".

Thank you all for 8 wonderful years so far, and many, many more to come!!!!

If you have any questions about becoming a sales rep, please contact Jennifer, our sales rep coordinator, jennifer@heroonmyarm.com

Below are answers to some commonly asked questions:

1. Are you accepting sales reps in my area?

There are no hard and fast, set in stone rules about how many reps can be in one given area. As military families we are all constantly moving, and we want to make sure you are able to take your business with you when you PCS. Also, since there are no sales quotas, reps have the opportunity to be as active as they would like- we are constantly monitoring the number of reps in any one area and listening to the feedback from our current reps, in order to make sure we help you all be successful and do not overcrowd any one area. More weight is given to areas where sales reps have purchased their own sample trunks as well. Currently, we are NOT accepting sales reps in the following areas:

Des Moines/Central Iowa
Fort Campbell, Kentucky
Fort Riley, Kansas
Washington, DC area

If you are in one of these areas, and would like to be put on a waiting list, just let us know.

2. Do I have to buy a sample trunk?

No, its not required. Its helpful as a selling tool, but not a requirement.

3. What does a sales rep do?

Our sales reps are direct sales representatives. You promote Hero On My Arm and help customers place orders, either in person or online. You can host purse parties, open houses, attend events like craft fairs and spouse luncheons, etc.

4. How much money can I earn?

You earn 20% commission on all of your sales. How much you earn is really up to you- you can work as little or as much as you'd like.

5. What if I don't know how to sew?

Our sales reps are our selling team, not our production team- no sewing background or skills are required, you don't make anything.

6. Do I have to recruit new people to the program?

No :) There is never any pressure to sign up new recruits or build a downline.

7. Do I have sell a certain amount?

No, there are no sales goals or quotas to meet.

Fort Rucker Area Help Wanted

No comments:
We are still looking for a few (one to two) more people to completely staff the new design studio, so if you are in the Fort Rucker area (Enterprise/Daleville/Ozark/Dothan), or know someone who is, and would be interested in a position at Hero On My Arm, please email us!
contactus@heroonmyarm.com

We are looking for motivated, punctual, detail oriented, focused individuals to work 10-25 hours a week in our design studio in Enterprise. Previous experience operating commercial embroidery equipment, ability to sew (this is NOT a seamstress position, you will not be sewing purses), and general all around craftiness are a plus, but not required.

Apply ASAP, we'd like to have these positions filled before the end of the week.

Please Pardon Our Dust...

No comments:
...As the Hero On My Arm Studios go through some major renovations, January 14th through January 23rd. The studios will NOT be closed during this time, in fact, just the opposite, as A LOT will be going on, such as:

Our embroidery machine is back from its end of the year servicing, so many of your accessory only orders will be getting finished up.

We are moving into a larger commercial space, so actually, physically moving the design studios!!!!

We are training several new staff members, including a new studio manager and new sales rep coordinator :)

{Behind the scenes} We are finishing up the tedious task of end of the year paperwork and taxes

And of coarse, working on some wonderful new and exciting things for 2011...

So, from the 14-23rd, if you contact us via email or phone, do expect some delays in someone getting back to you, as the customer service staff is very overextended this week. We really do apologize for any inconvenience, but we will be back operating at 100% starting on the 24th.
